Build Your Presence from the Ground Up

Within the Core and Premium coaching levels of my work, specific coaching packages range from 3 sessions to 10 sessions long. You can also choose to do a series of single sessions. The length of the packages depends on your specific goals and the challenges you need to solve. For example, if you are working on developing your executive presence, or putting together a high-level keynote, this requires a more long-term approach. If you need support preparing for an executive interview, that might involve a couple of targeted single sessions.

My coaching packages support growth and development around Presentation Skills (including managing performance anxiety), keynote and presentation creation, executive presence (I call it Charismatic Presence), and special coaching programming for women who are leaning into leadership.

When I’m working with Elite-level clients, we typically work out coaching parameters that allow us to engage in a longer-term relationship that is less “package”-oriented and more project-based, and often on a retainer basis.

Typically, individual clients pay me in full for a coaching program prior to the session. That said, when it comes to payment for single sessions (typically for executive interview coaching, I invoice for the session immediately following our coaching meeting). You can pay by check, or by credit card though an online payment portal.

As I always say, “Fit first, fee second!” If working with me feels like the right fit for you and me, but you are unable to pay me in full in advance for a coaching package, I am always open to finding a way to spread payments out so you can manage it.

My clients typically meet with me around every ten days, unless we are up against a deadline that requires more frequent meetings. That said, sessions are dictated by your needs and your schedule. Typically, we meet during the work day. I don’t meet with clients on weekends unless it’s an emergency situation; and there is an additional charge for last-minute or weekend meetings.

My clients are typically global, super busy executives; which means their schedule can change quickly, and they sometimes need to postpone a coaching session. All I ask is that my clients do their best to give me 24-hours notice (or as much advance warning as possible) so I can adjust my schedule accordingly. If you need to miss or reschedule a meeting, it’s on you to reschedule it, preferably within a week.

Absolutely! I will take you through a robust mock interview designed to get you to strengthen the areas where you feel (and project) less confidence and clarity, and highlight your areas of strength. To prepare for our session and mock interview, prior to our meeting I’ll invite you to fill out and return a worksheet that will help you get clear about your value proposition and overall messaging.

The pandemic taught me that presentation skills coaching works like a charm when conducted virtually. The fact is, we’ve all grown accustomed to communicating and presenting online, and virtual presentation coaching reflects that reality.

I meet virtually with clients from all over the United States and the world, and I can say with confidence that the outcomes of our work are as positive and lasting as if we had met live-in-person. Even my local “in person” clients sometimes opt to do a session virtually when they are strapped for time and don’t want to have to travel!

That said, my office has a small, lit stage, and many of my presentation skills or keynote creation clients choose to fly here and do a Deep Dive extended session with me to fine-tune a presentation when we are in the final stages of our work , just so they can have some face-to-face time.

When we are doing presentation skills, executive presence, or interview coaching, my goal is to help you identify limiting beliefs and behaviors that are getting in your way, replace them with new, more useful beliefs and behaviors, and encourage you to implement these new behaviors in the real world.

The structure of each session varies, depending on what we’re working on and the package or program you have chosen. That said, our coaching meetings are always a customized mix of structured, tried-and-true methodology, conversation, reflection, exercise work and a review of your homework (yes, there is homework, both written and spoken!).

If we are working on building a signature or legacy talk, sessions are based on the stages involved in developing your presentation: Defining its core message, teasing out its foundational structure, fleshing it out with stories and supporting content, and getting it on its feet from a performance standpoint.
